The Unexpected First Step to Authentic Expression
The way you speak to yourself shapes how safe you feel to express your truth in the world.
In this episode, we explore how your body is often the first place your truth speaks - through sensations, emotions, and even physical symptoms - before your mind can fully understand it. When you learn to listen inwardly with awareness and compassion, you begin to build self-trust from the inside out.
I share reflections from my own journey with things like PMDD, chronic lower back pain, allergies, and more, and how these experiences revealed deeper emotional patterns, suppressed truths, and misaligned beliefs.
We also explore how your inner dialogue directly impacts your sense of safety, your ability to set boundaries, and your capacity to express yourself authentically in relationships. When your inner world becomes a place of trust, your outer expression begins to flow naturally.
This is the foundation of everything we practice inside Dharma Dojo - learning how to be in relationship with yourself, while also feeling safe to be seen, heard, and expressed in community.
If you’re feeling called to deepen this work, you can join Dharma Dojo anytime. This month, we’re exploring Expression - reconnecting with your voice, your truth, and your ability to be fully seen in a safe and supportive space. And along the way, you may find yourself connecting with people who feel like your kind of people. Replays are always available so you can move at your own pace.
